Position Description:
As a senior analyst, this individual provides full lifecycle acquisition management for complex government programs. The role requires validating and refining requirements, leading the development of comprehensive procurement packages, and actively monitoring contract execution to ensure compliance and mission success, often serving as the primary acquisition expert to the Program Manager.
Duties may include:
- The contractor shall assist TASPO leadership in carrying out the operation and maintenance of CJMTK.
- Attend meetings or discussions with or on the behalf of TASPO government personnel and designated points of contact applicable to contractor support
- Support the government team lead by attending, hosting, and/or facilitating meetings to assess programmatic and technical issues within the overall CJMTK product lifecycle
- Gather information, provide analysis, expertise, options, recommendations, or ideas to TASPO leadership in the form of memorandums, briefings, design documents, or other artifacts to address issues or concerns
- In the course of assessment, collaborate with required Customer offices and/or external agencies to contribute to issues resolution and to provide recommendations to TASPO leadership
- Support the government team by recommending action items and tracking action items
- Participate in the preparations for all Senior Management Reviews to which TASPO provides input, as required, related to contractor support.
- Provide lifecycle program management support to TASPO
Required Skills:
- A minimum of 8 years of demonstrated experience in managing the software acquisition lifecycle for DoW or IC programs.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Acquisition, IT Management).
- Demonstrated similar to or like the duties as outlined above.
- Demonstrated experience in acquisition, acquisition planning, and the development of acquisitions.
- Demonstrated experience with software asset management (SAM) principles, processes, and tools.
- Proficiency in using government financial management and acquisition systems to process purchase actions and funding documents.
Desired Skills:
- Experience in project and program management.
- Experience with Military, Department of Defense, or Customer organization acquisition.
- Experience or working knowledge of containerized computer applications (for example: Kubernetes)
